DOMOVOI THEATER COMPANY

DOMOVOI theatre company was created by Igor Mamlenkov during his Master studies at Accademia Teatro Dimitri, Switzerland.

Creator & Performer

Born in Russia where he practiced breakdance and drama theatre. Studied in Denmark and then moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he began studying clown and physical acting with such masters as jango Edwards and Johnny Melville. Made a few experimental films as a director and actor. One of his short films went to 36th edition of Moscow international film festival. Since 2012, He played in a comedy duo show “Soñeneros” in different festivals in Spain and Portugal. In 2015, he created a solo show ‘THE SPOILER’. He entered the master program at academia teatro Dimitri in 2016. Thence he had the honor of participating in physical theatre summer project LOD’ at continuo theatre. He played as an additional green clown in Slava’s Snow Show in Theatre Beaulieu, Lausanne, November, 2016. Altogether, with his master group, he created and played in a physical theatre performance “INSOMNIA”, directed by Pavel Stourac, which toured in Europe.

DOMOVOI show has had its premiere on 19 and 20th of January, 2018 at Teatro Dimitri. It has also toured in St.Petersburg and Krasnodar in Russia. Now it is ready to fly to the next theatre next to you.
